“ It's a matter of expectations. If you are expecting shish-kebabs It is not. But if you are expecting authentic northern chinese bbq this IS the place. This style food is basically bar food, meant to be enjoyed with friends talking and plenty of beer. In China the street vendors come out at 10pm, chairs are set up with lights and the good times begin. The BBQ grill is a long skinny gutter with charcoal just the right width for the skewers to sit above the heat. The fresh skewer starts at one end and rolls to the other end well done. Spicy if you like but totaally full of flavor. ”
